Fix camera and mic problems on iPhone, Android and desktop, learn how matching and coins work, and find out how to manage or delete your Camgomeet account.
Getting started
Open camgomeet.me in your phone or computer browser. There is nothing to install: a guest session is created automatically, so you can look around and start a match straight away. When you tap start, your browser will ask for camera and microphone access; allow both, and you will be connected to a girl who is online right now in a private 1v1 video call.
If you want to keep your coins and settings on more than one device, create an account or log in. To keep Camgomeet one tap away, use your browser’s Add to Home Screen option. A tour of what each screen does is on the features page.
Allowing camera and microphone on iPhone (Safari)
When Safari asks whether camgomeet.me can use your camera and microphone, tap Allow. If you tapped Don’t Allow by mistake, tap the aA icon in the address bar, choose Website Settings, and set Camera and Microphone to Allow. You can also go to the iPhone Settings app, then Safari, and check Camera and Microphone under Settings for Websites. Reload the page afterwards.
If another app such as a phone call or a different video app is using the camera, close it first.
Allowing camera and microphone on Android (Chrome)
Tap Allow when Chrome asks. If you blocked it earlier, tap the icon to the left of the address, open Permissions, and switch Camera and Microphone on. If Chrome itself does not have permission, open the Android Settings app, go to Apps, then Chrome, then Permissions, and allow Camera and Microphone. Reload camgomeet.me after changing anything.
Allowing camera and microphone on desktop
In Chrome or Edge, click the camera icon or the site icon in the address bar and choose Allow for camera and microphone. In Safari on a Mac, open Safari, then Settings, then Websites, and set Camera and Microphone to Allow for camgomeet.me. On a Mac you may also need to allow your browser under System Settings, then Privacy and Security, then Camera and Microphone. On Windows, check Settings, then Privacy, then Camera and Microphone, and make sure desktop apps are allowed.
If you have more than one camera or headset, pick the right device in the browser’s site settings.
Moving to the next match
Not every conversation clicks, and that is fine. Tap next (or find another) during a match and you will be connected to someone new. Each match begins with a free stretch. If you are enjoying the conversation and want to keep going past it, the cost in coins is shown on screen before anything is spent. You can also follow a person you liked so you can message or call her later from her profile.
Coins and purchases
Coins are used for longer sessions, some calls and gifts. You can see your balance and buy coin packages in the wallet; the price is shown before you pay, and payments go through a payment processor. Coins appear in your wallet once the payment is confirmed, which is usually right away.
If you paid but the coins did not appear, wait a few minutes and reload the page. If they are still missing, email [email protected] with the time of purchase, the amount and the payment reference from your receipt. Coins have no cash value and cannot be moved between accounts; the details are in the terms of service.
Your account and deleting it
You can edit your profile name, photos and short videos from your profile page. If you started as a guest, log in or create an account before clearing your browser data, otherwise the guest session and anything in it may be lost.
To delete your account, send a request to [email protected] from the email on your account, or include your account name so we can confirm it is yours. Once deleted, your profile, messages and remaining coins cannot be recovered. What happens to your data is described in the privacy policy.
Black screen or no video
Check that camera permission is set to Allow (see the steps above) and that the camera is not turned off inside Camgomeet. Close other apps or tabs that might be using the camera, such as video meeting software. On a laptop, look for a physical privacy shutter or a camera key on the keyboard. Then reload the page. If the other person’s video is black, she may have turned her camera off, or her connection may be weak; tap next if it does not come back.
Using the latest version of Chrome or Safari fixes many video problems, as does switching from a weak Wi-Fi signal to mobile data or the other way round.
No sound or the other person cannot hear you
Make sure you have not muted yourself in the call and that microphone permission is allowed. On phones, check the silent switch and media volume, and disconnect Bluetooth earbuds if sound is going to the wrong device. On desktop, pick the right microphone and speaker in the browser’s site settings or your system sound settings. If only one call has a problem, the issue is probably on the other side; try the next match.
