Community Guidelines

The house rules for every Camgomeet video call: be respectful, keep your camera clean, no minors, no scams or recording, and how reports are handled.

The short version

Camgomeet works because a random match can turn into a good conversation with someone from another country. That only happens when both people feel comfortable. Treat the person on the other side of the screen the way you would want to be treated, keep things clean on camera, and use the report option when someone does not.

These guidelines apply to live video and voice calls, private messages, profile photos, short videos and profile names. Breaking them can cost you your account.

Be respectful

Say hello before anything else. If the other person taps next, let them go; if they do not want to talk about something, drop it. Do not insult people for how they look, sound, or where they come from. Do not keep messaging or calling someone who has stopped replying.

Keep the camera clean

No nudity and no sexually explicit behavior, gestures or requests, on camera or in messages. The same applies to profile photos and videos. Dress the way you would for a video call with a stranger, because that is exactly what it is. Pressuring someone to undress or do something they are uncomfortable with will get your account removed.

Only people 18 and over

Camgomeet is for people aged 18 and older. Nobody under 18 may use the service or appear on camera, even in the background. If you believe you are talking to a minor, end the call and report the profile. Any content involving minors leads to an immediate permanent ban and may be passed to the relevant authorities.

No harassment or hate

Threats, stalking, bullying and repeated unwanted contact are not allowed. Neither is content that attacks people because of race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability or similar traits. Do not share violent or shocking material, and do not encourage anyone to hurt themselves.

No scams or money requests

Never ask another user for money, gift cards, bank transfers, crypto, or payment details, and never send them. Gifts inside Camgomeet are sent with coins through the app itself; anyone who asks you to pay outside the site is breaking the rules. The same goes for fake giveaways, investment pitches and requests for login codes. Report these profiles right away. Our safety tips cover the common warning signs.

No recording or sharing without consent

Do not record, screenshot or stream a call, and do not share another person’s image, voice, messages or personal details anywhere without their clear permission. Do not post other people’s photos on your own profile or pretend to be someone else.

No spam, links or advertising

Camgomeet is for conversation, not promotion. Do not paste links, social media handles for follower farming, phone numbers for marketing, or advertising into chats or profiles. Bots, automated messages and mass-copied greetings are removed.

What happens when rules are broken

Depending on how serious the problem is and whether it has happened before, we may give a warning, remove content, limit features, suspend the account for a period, or ban it permanently. Serious cases, including anything involving minors, threats of violence or fraud, skip the warning step. Accounts closed for violations lose any remaining coins, as described in our terms of service. Creating a new account to get around a ban leads to that account being closed too.

How to report

Every profile on Camgomeet has a report option. Open the person’s profile, tap report, choose the reason that fits best and add a short note if you can. You can also end the call or tap next at any time; you never owe anyone a conversation. For urgent safety concerns, or if you need to add screenshots or details, email [email protected], as explained on the contact page. If someone is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services first.
