Cookie Policy

How Camgomeet uses cookies and browser local storage to keep you signed in, remember settings and measure traffic, plus how to clear or block them.

What cookies and local storage are

Cookies are small text files a website saves in your browser. Local storage is a similar browser feature that lets a site keep small pieces of data on your device. Camgomeet uses both. Neither one can read other files on your phone or computer.

Strictly necessary storage

Some storage is needed for Camgomeet to work at all. When you arrive, a guest session identifier is saved so the site knows your match, messages and wallet belong to the same visitor from page to page. If you log in, a session token keeps you signed in. Without this storage you would be logged out on every page and matching would not work.

Preference storage

We remember choices you make so you do not have to repeat them: language, whether you have already seen a notice, and camera or microphone preferences inside the site (your browser keeps its own separate permission settings). If you pin Camgomeet to your home screen, the browser may also store files that help the site open faster.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how people use the site: which pages are visited, how long they take to load, what type of device is used and roughly which country visits come from. Google Analytics sets its own cookies for this. The data we look at is aggregated and helps us find bugs and slow pages; it is not used to show you advertising on Camgomeet.

Google processes this data under its own privacy terms. You can block Google Analytics with a browser setting or an opt-out add-on without affecting how Camgomeet works.

Payment providers

When you buy coins, the payment page may be operated by a third-party payment processor that sets its own cookies to prevent fraud and complete the transaction. Those cookies are controlled by the provider, not by us.

How to clear or block cookies

Every major browser lets you view, delete and block cookies and site data. On iPhone, go to Settings, then Safari, then Advanced, then Website Data. In Chrome on Android or desktop, open Settings, then Privacy and security, then Cookies and other site data (or Site settings). Clearing site data for camgomeet.me will end a guest session, so any coins in a guest wallet that is not linked to an account may be lost. Log in first if you want to keep them.

Blocking strictly necessary storage will stop the site from working properly.
